Thanks for the extra insight!
As there hasn’t been a public Ideation Pod call, and personally I don’t feel comfortable engaging with Dahveed given conflicting personal beliefs/values relating to the Israel - Palestine conflict, so its hard to really tell what’s going on within the inner workings of the pod beyond the routine written updates, which I agree have been helpful, but reporting for the sake of reporting doesn’t necessarily mean impact and a positive return on investment (focusing not on monetary return, but on the community impact first and foremost from my pov).
Also it seems that Cabin’s founder and largest token holder @jon also seems somewhat dissatisfied, as he voted to return 25% of the pool to the treasury.
So far he hasn’t shared any reasoning, so I won’t jump to any conclusions… but I’m disappointed to see that Jon would rather return governance tokens to the treasury vs reward pod contributors…
Especially when Jon earns > 2000 Cabin governance tokens per month (25,000/year) with no active community oversight, simply because 5 people voted on him and @grin’s 4-year founder level vesting proposal
