Wiki Pages I'd Love to Have

A brief list of articles I’d love to see added to our wiki.

Many of these came up as I was writing the Run Your First Neighborhood Event post, but would be useful as their own standalone posts too.

  • How to take great photos at neighborhood events
  • True Stories
  • Give people tasks that showcase their interests
  • Hosting a potluck
  • Hosting a park picnic
  • Hosting a hike
  • Hosting a supper
  • Cabin governance 101
  • Contributing to cabin 101
  • Setting up your neighborhood page
  • Knocking on doors
  • Meeting your neighbors
  • Neighborhood group chat best practices

Anyone wanna write one?

I’m planning on writing a http://liamrosen.com article on “how to start a groupchat for your [building in NYC]”, I could just take that, replace a few words, and update the Cabin wiki with it.

Sweeeet, thanks for writing this up!

The wiki hasn’t gotten much love, but there’s a proposal in the works to create a library of communitybuilding content. I think that will be the best place for this once it gets off the ground.

This is awesome, thanks for writing it! I’d recommend posting it as a new topic in :houses: Building Neighborhoods
